More than 1,600 books were banned in schools and libraries during the 2021-2022 school year. One thing that often gets lost in the R “parental rights” narrative is that they are bullying & refusing to hear the concerns of parents that are also educators, elected officials on the other side of the aisle, and free speech proponents like Nadine Farid Johnson of @PENamerica.
