Meet Your Media: Creating a More Informed and Equitable Society

PEN Tulsa convened with local journalists for an enlightening evening of dialogue and collaboration to promote inclusive reporting. Hosted by the Tulsa Press Club, this event addressed the local issue of limited diverse representation in the media and fostered a stronger connection between journalists, government representatives, and community members.

During this engaging panel discussion, we explored strategies to bridge the gap between the media and our community, promoting inclusive reporting and amplifying underrepresented voices. Our esteemed panelists included experienced journalists, influential government representatives, and passionate community leaders committed to driving positive change.

After the panel discussion, we invited attendees to join us for a reception where complimentary refreshments were served. This was an excellent opportunity to continue the conversation, connect with fellow attendees, and further explore the topics addressed during the event.
