Julia Fierro

Julia Fierro’s debut novel, Cutting Teeth, will be published by St. Martin’s Press in spring 2014. Her work has appeared, or is forthcoming, in Guernica Magazine, The Millions, Poets & Writers, Flavorwire, and other publications. Julia is a graduate of The Iowa Writers’ Workshop, where she was a Teaching-Writing Fellow. In 2002, she founded The Sackett Street Writers’ Workshop, and what started as eight writers meeting in her Brooklyn kitchen has grown into a creative home for over 2,000 writers.
