Maayan comes to PEN America with 7 years of experience in fundraising. After finishing a PhD in English at Princeton University, Maayan joined the development team at the Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM), where she oversaw their Major Gifts and Patron Programs. Following BAM, Maayan worked at America Friends of the Israel Philharmonic, raising money all along the East Coast and Canada from Foundations, Corporations and Individuals. Maayan has been a lifelong PEN America fan and is thrilled to join this growing team.
