Fahmi Reza

Reza is a political activist and cartoonist who draws political cartoons and graphic art, which he posts on social media. He describes his work as a medium of protest that acts as a catalyst for social change. He has been charged multiple times in the past 20 years. He was detained overnight in April 2022 and questioned over new satirical art. He found out a few days later as he was trying to leave the country that he was put on an immigration blacklist preventing him from leaving the country. In December 2024, he was put under investigation again for another satirical graphic.
