Lydia Cacho

Lydia Cacho is a Mexican journalist and human rights activist. She was the first woman in Mexican history to take an organized crime ring, involved with child pornography, sexual tourism, and human trafficking, to trial. Her defense of human rights and journalistic freedom has led to repeated death threats. Ms. Cacho has published seven books and coauthored several collective books.
