Grey Nebel

Grey Nebel (he/him) is a current undergraduate student at the University of North Georgia, where he majors in English – Writing & Publications and French – Language & Literature. As a student, his research interests include the development of gender-neutral grammar in gendered languages, glitch feminism, and the intersection of language and public policy. Off-campus, he works as a public servant; he developed the Language Equity Project through the Gwinnett County Voter Registrations and Elections, promoted peace in Syria through the Carter Center, and advanced progressive values as a Newman Civic Fellow, among other roles. After graduation, he aspires to complete postgraduate studies in human rights policy and pursue a career in advocacy for LGBTQ+ migrants. When not studying, Grey loves to cook, make jewellery, and read. He lives with two cats.
