Emma Reynolds

Emma Reynolds is the Artists at Risk Connection (ARC) Coordinator, Protection Programs. Prior to joining PEN, she spent six years at Columbia University’s Sexual Violence Response rape crisis center, including as the Training and Intervention Coordinator and as a Survivor Advocate supporting vulnerable individuals experiencing gender-based violence. In addition to her background in anti-violence prevention and advocacy, Reynolds has spent time working in Indonesia with artists and human rights activists, and in 2023 she completed a master’s degree in International Emergency & Disaster Management from Georgetown University. Reynolds completed her undergraduate degree from Williams College and moved to New York City in 2015 to pursue her MFA in creative writing at Columbia.
