Kevin Barry is the author of the novel City of Bohane and the story collections Dark Lies the Island and There Are Little Kingdoms. He has won the International IMPAC Dublin Literary Award, the Sunday Times EFG Short Story Prize and the European Union Prize for Literature. His stories have appeared in The New Yorker, Granta, and Tin House, among others. He lives in County Sligo in the west of Ireland.
