Alexis Lass is a student at Nova Southeastern University, pursuing her Master’s Degree in Experimental Psychology. Lass graduated with her B.A. in Political Science, with minors in Philosophy and Psychology, in 2024. In her last semester of undergraduate studies, she developed the Banned Books series, “Out of Sight: Not Out of Mind,” working closely with NSU’s Center for Applied Humanities to create and host the series. The Center for Applied Humanities devotes itself to the study and application of the humanities to the human environment with particular attention to reflecting our diverse heritage, traditions, and history, and to the relevance of the humanities to the current conditions of national life and international concerns.
