PEN America Winter 2018 Authors’ Evening with Allen Kurzweil

This dinner will be hosted by Mimi Sternlicht at her Upper East Side home on Tuesday, February 27, 2018 at 7:30 pm.

 Whipping Boy by Allen Kurzweil

Allen Kurzweil will discuss his body of work and his latest book Whipping Boy: The Forty-Year Search for My Twelve-Year-Old Bully, a scrupulously researched work of non-fiction that renders a childhood menace into an unlikely muse.

Allen Kurzweil is a novelist, journalist, teacher, and inventor. Educated at Yale and the University of Rome, he has written for numerous publications, including The New Yorker, The New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, and Vanity Fair.

Seating at this dinner will be limited and available by making a donation to PEN America.

The PEN America Authors’ Evenings are nights of literary dinners in private homes and intimate settings in New York City. Please visit the Authors’ Evenings webpage for our full calendar of dinners.
