Republic of Spin with David Greenberg, March 3

You are invited to a private dinner with historian, professor, and prize-winning author David Greenberg.

The dinner will be hosted by Evangeline Morphos and Alan Brinkley, Thursday, March 3, at their home on Central Park West.

David will discuss his book, Republic of Spin: An Inside History of the American Presidency, a vivid look at the tortured marriage of public relations and the modern presidency. Covering more than one hundred years of politics, Republic of Spin is everything a comprehensive political history should be.

Praise for Republic of Spin: “In Republic of Spin, David Greenberg (shows) how the effort to manipulate public opinion has long been a central obsession in the Oval Office. “ —Jeffrey Toobin, author of The Oath and The Nine. “At once scholarly, imaginative, and great fun” Kirkus Reviews

All proceeds will benefit PEN American Center.
