PEN West: A Reading with Lynn Freed

PEN West Lynn Freed Reading Featured Image

PEN West will feature Lynn Freed, author of seven novels including The Servants’ Quarters (2009) and House of Women (2002), in a reading of her new novel, The Last Laugh (2017), and her recent collection of essays, The Romance of Elsewhere (2017). A hilarious and brilliant new novel about the riotous, passion-filled adventures of three women who thought they were past their prime, The Last Laugh is an exuberant story of friendship and pleasure, family and love. And in The Romance of Elsewhere, Freed’s deeply personal essays traverse decades and continents and back again, exploring what makes a home and captures the dilemma of the expat and does so with Freed’s signature honesty and humor.

Please RSVP to Director of PEN West Wendy Martin to receive event details: [email protected].
