PEN DIY with Wesley Stace: How to Lead a Double Life

Performer Wesley Stace (until very recently, also known as John Wesley Harding) takes the stage at PEN’s final DIY of the year, on Monday December 1st.  The four-time novelist, singer-songwriter, teacher, and Cabinet of Wonders impressario, will explain – in his own inimitable style – how he managed to make art for three decades under two names, why he became two people in the first place, and when he decided enough was enough.

Building on oral traditions, parables, and the rich history of artists as unpretentious makers, PEN DIY celebrates how literature can be approachable yet unexpected, and how it can help us make sense of our lives.

Buy tickets, invite a friend, and join us! Doors at 7:30, program at 8:00.
