PEN America Winter 2017 Author’s Evening with Zadie Smith

*This Event is Sold Out*

You are invited to a private dinner with writer Zadie Smith.

The dinner will be hosted by Edward Tyler Nahem in his art gallery, Edward Tyler Nahem Fine Art, at West 57th Street on Tuesday, March 28th, 2017 at 7:30pm.

Zadie will discuss her new novel Swing Time, an ambitious, exuberant work moving from North West London to West Africa. Dazzlingly energetic and deeply human, Swing Time is a story about friendship and music and stubborn roots, about how we are shaped by these roots and how we can survive them.

Praise for Swing Time: “A dance itself, syncopated, unexpected, and vital…Swing Time may not parse easily and fits no mold, but it is uncommonly full of life.” —Claire Messud, The New York Review of Books.

Zadie Smith is an English novelist, essayist, and short story writer. She is the author of White Teeth, The Autograph Man, On Beauty, Changing My Mind, and NW, all of which have received substantial critical praise.

Seating at this dinner is limited and available by making a donation to PEN America.
