PEN America Virtual Authors’ Evening with Jodi Kantor & Megan Twohey

Megan Twohey and Jodi Kantor

Date: Wednesday, July 15, 2020
Time: 7:00pm ET
Location: Zoom
Donation to Attend: $250 per ticket

Join us for an intimate evening with New York Times journalists Jodi Kantor and Megan Twohey, Pulitzer Prize-winning Times investigative reporters who broke the Harvey Weinstein story in October of 2017. This conversation will feature special guest hosts Annette Niemtzow, Eve Ellis, and Evangeline Morphos.

Their tandem reporting, along with the number of articles that followed, is thought to have ignited the #MeToo movement. Kantor and Twohey also co-authored the book She Said: Breaking the Sexual Harassment Story That Helped Ignite a Movement, published last year, which recounts their investigations and takes a deeper look at the larger structures of power of which Weinstein was a part.

A $250 donation is required to attend this very special evening. This donation is considered 100 percent tax-deductible and supports PEN America’s mission to defend writers and free expression at a time of unprecedented need. Please fill out the form below to make a contribution and reserve your ticket. Your generosity is deeply appreciated.

Space will be limited to 25 guests to facilitate audience participation and discussion. Following your RSVP, you will be sent the Zoom meeting invitation. This is a private video meeting, and only guests who are on the RSVP list will be permitted to join.

Please contact Hannah Waltz at [email protected] for any additional questions or concerns.
