Eliza Griswold and Steve Coll, Tuesday, March 8

You are invited to a private dinner hosted by Judy Harris on Tuesday, March 8 with Steve Coll and journalist, translator and poet Eliza Griswold.

Steve is the recipient of two Pulitzer Prizes (1990 and 2005), an author, journalist and business executive. He is currently Dean of Columbia Journalism School. His book Private Empire: ExxonMobil and American Power pulls back the curtain on the oil giant, tracking the corporation’s recent history and its central role on the world stage.

Eliza’s collection, I Am the Beggar of the World: Landays from Contemporary Afghanistan, is a series of ancient poems – landays – translated from Pashto, and was awarded the 2015 PEN Award for Poetry in Translation.

Please note: the date for this dinner was incorrectly listed in our printed invitation as 03/10/16. This dinner will take place on Tuesday, March 8.

All proceeds will benefit PEN American Center.
