PEN America Fall 2018 Authors’ Evening with Ben Rhodes

This dinner will be hosted by Caroline Netchvolodoff in her Upper West Side home on Tuesday, November 20, 2018, at 7:30pm.

Ben Rhodes will discuss his latest book, The World As It Is, a revelatory behind-the-scenes account of the Obama presidency that explores how idealism can confront harsh reality and still survive. Ben served as deputy national security advisor to President Barack Obama from 2009 to 2017, overseeing the administration’s national security communications, speechwriting, public diplomacy, and global engagement programming.

Tickets to this dinner are considered a 100% tax-deductible donation to PEN America and are available on a limited basis. Please contact Jafreen Uddin at [email protected] to purchase your ticket(s) and reserve your seat(s) to this dinner.

The PEN America Authors’ Evenings are nights of literary dinners in private homes and intimate settings in New York City. Please visit the Authors’ Evenings webpage for our full calendar of dinners.
