Erik Gross is the Senior Manager of Foundation Relations & Grants at PEN America. His role focuses on collaboration with institutional funders to advance the organization’s mission. In previous roles, he performed a variety of duties spanning development, communications, program management, and research at the Aspen Institute, Open to Debate, and the American Council of Trustees and Alumni. Throughout his career, he has been motivated by a desire to build a cultural and intellectual ecosystem that can withstand political and social division.

Gross holds a Bachelor’s in Economics and History from Kenyon College.
