Matthew Raab

My full name is Matthew Elisha Raab and I was born March 21, 1986. I am an Aries and the character Mortal in Datura is a symbolic portrait of myself. At the end of Part I, Datura calls the Mortal Mercury, which is short for my name M-E-R. Sad to say I’m an educated Trinidadian-American with 35 years. I’ve been writing poetry since I was 14 years old & at first it was therapeutic (for I have Bipolar Manic Depression/Dysthymic Disorder) but then over the years I matured, I kind of believe through psychedelic drugs, other people think I’m clairaudient, others think I’m intellectually in touch with the spiritual plane, but who knows it could be all mixed in one. However I obtained this perception, it has changed my whole life! I’m close to going to the Supreme Court to appeal my sentence and hopefully get this time up off me. Oh my bad you are probably wondering how I ended up here.
