Turki Al-Jasser

Al-Jasser was a blogger who wrote about politics, social issues, and religion between 2013 and 2015, including topics such as women’s status in Islam and the uprising in Egypt. He was arrested at his home on March 15, 2018, and taken to an undisclosed location. Rumors about his death circulated between 2018 and 2020. ALQST later confirmed that he had not been tortured to death, and in January 2020, he briefly contacted his family. Since then, there has been no verified information about his well-being. Al-Jasser was executed by the Saudi government on June 14, 2025, on charges of "treason."
