A blogger and online activist, Al-Ajmi has been the victim of repeated attacks since October 2022. The first occurred in Kuwait before he was forced out of the country; he was then attacked in Egypt in June 2023 before traveling to Turkey to apply for asylum. Upon his arrival, he was detained for three days. According to his Twitter account, he is currently exiled in London.
