FOR TEACHERS IN NYC:
Writers In the Schools aims to inspire students to read more regularly and more critically, and to encourage them to explore writers from various cultures and regions. Led by long-time PEN Member Jim Traub, this program is active in schools across New York City, and sends PEN Members to work with students in under-served communities as writing tutors, teaching assistants and more.
