Los Angeles Book Club: Post Traumatic Hood Disorder

RSVP here

PEN America and The Edison hope to see you at our July Book Club to discuss Post Traumatic Hood Disorder by David Tomas Martinez. Hosted by Michael A. Reyes.

Free and open to all, both PEN America Members and non-Members. Specialty cocktails will be offered all night, and happy hour prices are available.

“This is a book of urgencies, and Martinez rises old-school like Icarus, intent on leaving anguish, falseness, and bullshit in his wake.” —Vievee Francis, author of Blue-Tail Fly, Horse in the Dark, and Forest Primeval.

PEN America’s Read the Resistance will livestream a conversation with Martinez on July 31, live from New York City.

Members of the Book Club receive a 15 percent discount when purchasing the current book club title at The Last Bookstore. For more information, email [email protected].
