Minahil Khan is an intern with PEN America’s Public Programs Department this semester. Born in Islamabad, Minahil is a New York transplant, but she considers herself equal parts Pakistani and New Yorker. She is currently a junior at Harvard University majoring in History and Literature, with a minor in Ethnicity, Migration, and Rights. Minahil is dedicated to studying and attempting to understand the perspectives of the often disenfranchised and oppressed through literature—she hopes to translate lessons learned in the classroom to her work in the real world once she graduates.
