A People’s Assembly in the Spirit of The Path to Hope

<p>Given their involvement in May 6th’s French Presidential elections, St&eacute;phane Hessel and Edgar Morin decided that they should remain in France. In the spirit of The Path to Hope and Time for Outrage!, PEN World Voices Festival, Creative Time, and Occupy’s theory magazine Tidal invited audience members to participate in a people’s assembly. Inverting the traditional panel structure, the audience acted as active participants in an exploration of the principals of the Occupy movement and Hessel and Morin’s calls for a &quot;broad insurrection of conscience.&quot;<b><br />
