Yu Yunfeng, also known as Dong Hu Zhibi, is a pro-democracy activist who was detained multiple times for his anti-Chinese Communist Party content over the years. He was sentenced to 2 years in reeducation by the Harbin authorities for his speech in 2011, and detained again in 2017 for defamation. Most recently, Yu was detained in November 2022, and charged with “picking quarrels and provoking trouble.” He was sentenced to five years in prison.
