Yin Jiangen

Yin Jiangen is a blogger who writes articles for his public WeChat account under the name Bi Geng. His articles are critical of local government and party officials, including abuses of power, as well as articles defending petitioner rights. Following articles critical of local leadership in Anhu, public security officers detained him in August 2025 and charged him with “picking quarrels.” His case was tried in February 2026, but no verdict was reached, and the trial period was extended for three more months in March 2026.
