Taqadum Al-Khatib

Taqadum Al-Khatib, an Egyptian scholar and commentator, has lived in exile in Germany since 2013. After his research on the Tiran and Sanafir agreement, he faced sustained retaliation, including job dismissal, scholarship revocation, and pressure on his family. In 2025, he was referred to a terrorism trial in absentia on politically motivated charges used against dissidents abroad. The case was adjourned for witness testimony.
