Naraghi is a visual artist, musician, poet, and scholar. She has been harassed by authorities and faced multiple charges since 2017, when a video of her performing music was published. She fled to Georgia in 2022 due to political pressure, but the harassment continued especially after her music and writings in support of the Woman Life Freedom protests became popular. Currently in the UK, she received several death threats and reported being followed in 2024.
