Author of four short novels, Rosero is also a journalist who has left Colombia for his own safety. He received three separate death threats in December 2021 and authorities have declined to provide protection to him. He continues to write in exile and is currently working on the publication of a new book El crimen del Comandante (The Commander’s Crime), where he describes threats against him.
