Ramah Al-Bayaa is a West Bank-based community activist and online commentator who writes mostly about local political and social issues. She was arrested on September 11, 2025 by Palestinian police in Beitunia over Facebook posts. She was interrogated and charged under the Cybercrime Law for alleged defamation of the Palestinian Authority and held for four days. On September 14, 2025, a Ramallah court ordered her release on personal bail. She remains under conditional release.
