Nandini Sundar

In 2016, Nandini Sundar, a writer, academic, and activist, was accused, along with nine others, of murdering Shamnath Baghel, a tribal man who had previously filed complaints against her for allegedly supporting Maoists and inciting tribal groups against the Indian state. All charges were dropped in early 2019. Despite this, Sundar continues to write critical articles, speaking out on issues related to tribal rights and government policies.
