Mahsa Asadollanejad is an Iranian sociologist and translator. She is known for her translations of leftist texts by figures such as Herbert Marcuse and Theodor Adorno. In early November 2025, Asadollanejad was among several individuals arrested in a series of raids targeting leftist intellectuals affiliated with Parviz Sedaghat’s publication, Political Economy Critique. Asadollanejad was a regular contributor to the journal. Asadollanejad was released on bail a week after her arrest.
