Researcher and Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine member Jarrar was arrested from her home in the West Bank in December 2023, shortly after the Independent Commission for Human Rights (ICHR) published Jarrar’s report, “Violations against Female and Male Prisoners during the Genocidal War on Gaza,” and a video explaining her research. She had been arrested three times from 2015-2021 for PFLP links.
