An online commentator and prominent figure in Tunisia’s 2011 revolution, Amina Mansour is facing trial for a Facebook post criticizing the country’s Prime Minister. Mansour was sentenced to six months in prison for the post in May 2022, but is not yet jailed pending her appeal. She continues to faces summonses in other legal investigations as of 2022.
