Aakar Patel

Patel, a prominent columnist and writer, was the former head of Amnesty International India, leading the organization until it was shut down by the government in 2020. He faced extensive surveillance for years and was prevented from leaving the country by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in April 2022.
