Debby Dahl Edwardson

Debby Dahl Edwardson writes stories for young people from her home in the northernmost community on the North American Continent: Barrow, Alaska.

Her first novel, Blessing’s Bead, was named an ALA Best Fiction for Young Adults, a Booklist Top Ten Historical Fiction for Youth and Top Ten First Novel for Youth, and an International Reading Association 2010 Notable Book for a Global Society.

Her latest novel, My Name is Not Easy, was a finalist for the National Book Award for Young People’s Literature.
