Trevor Noah is the host of Comedy Central’s Emmy- and Peabody-Award–winning The Daily Show, for which he has received a GLAAD Media Award and been nominated for two NAACP Image Awards. Noah won Best Host at the 2017 MTV Movie & TV Awards, as well as a Primetime Emmy Award. In February 2017, he debuted his ninth comedy special, Afraid of the Dark, on Netflix, following specials on Comedy Central and Showtime. Noah is the author of Born a Crime: Stories from a South African Childhood, winner of the Thurber Prize for American Humor and two NAACP Image Awards. A movie adaptation is forthcoming, and a second memoir is slated to be released in October 2018.
