Todd Winkler

Todd Winkler graduated from the U.S. Air Force Academy and flew F-16 fighter aircrafts in Japan and across the Pacific theater. After the military, he earned an MBA and led product innovation teams in the medical device industry. Since his incarceration, Todd became a certified substance abuse counselor and facilitates group therapy sessions. To cope with life in prison and further his rehabilitative journey, Todd began writing short stories and screenplays, producing several pieces that use near-future settings to explore social issues like race, immigration, climate change, and technology. Todd’s literary influences include George Orwell, Ursula K. Le Guin, Margaret Atwood, and Octavia Butler.
