Sarai Hertz-Velázquez

Born and raised in Connecticut (for the most part), Sarai Hertz-Velázquez is a former intern with PEN America’s Prison and Justice Writing Program. Sarai is student at Wellesley College, currently studying the unknown. She is greatly invested in the boundary-pushing, narrative-shifting abilities of human connection through the power of listening.
