Sadé Ratliff

Spring 2023 Free Expression Fellow

2nd-semester senior and Black Studies major Sadé Ratliff is proud to be the Free Expression and Education team’s new fellow. Throughout her collegiate career, Ratliff has worked to uplift Black women and girls, fight against the homelessness epidemic, for workers and intern rights, with youth advocacy groups and so much more. Ratliff hopes to continue her advocacy work with PEN, concentrating on youth development and preservation of free expression. Sadé is participating in the Spring 2023 Fellowship and simultaneously completing her Capstone research projects focusing on Korean and Black interracial solidarity and the sexual agency of young Black women.
