Nikki Paige Gallant (she/they) is a Fellow with Freedom to Read at PEN America. She attended Temple University where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in English with a concentration in Creative Writing and a Master of Arts in English. Her studies focus on queering normative institutions and policies. She is currently working on her second master’s degree at Drexel University’s College of Computing and Informatics in their Information and Library Science program. During her time as an undergraduate, she served as a Research Assistant for Dr. Laura McGrath on her forthcoming title, Middlemen: Literary Agents and American Literature. She was a recipient of Temple University’s Liberal Arts Undergraduate Research Award for her work with Dr. McGrath.
