Meg Wolitzer is a New York Times bestselling author whose novels include The Wife, The Ten-Year Nap,The Interestings, and The Female Persuasion. She was guest editor of The Best American Short Stories 2017, and is host of the literary radio show and podcast Selected Shorts. A faculty member in the Creative Writing & Literature Program at The Lichtenstein Center at SUNY Stony Brook, Wolitzer co-founded and co-directs BookEnds, a yearlong intensive in the novel. The Interestings is currently being adapted as a musical, with a book by Sarah Ruhl, and music and lyrics by Sara Bareilles.
