Luke Gerwe is the managing editor of the Voice of Witness book series, a collection of oral history titles that cover a wide variety of social justice and human rights issues. Topics of the Voice of Witness series range from post-9/11 civil rights and the U.S. criminal justice system to the experiences of men and women living in the midst of conflict in Burma, Zimbabwe, and Colombia. Before joining Voice of Witness, Luke worked as an editor for small presses in New York and elsewhere.
