Luka Linich

Spring 2023 Free Expression Fellow

Luka Linich is a fellow working with the Eurasia Department at PEN America. He is currently a senior at Bard College in Annandale-On-Hudson, NY completing his undergraduate degree in Global and International Studies. At Bard, he assists his father Carl Linich with the Bard College Georgian Choir, an official credit course at the university. Last Spring, he participated in the BGIA (Bard Globalization and International Affairs) Program in New York City, studying a range of topics in the sphere of International Affairs and he also interned at the Bard High School Early College in Manhattan in an administrative role. Luka has spent much of his life as a musician and traveler, performing music and exploring new cultures with the organization Northern Harmony. His experiences in the world and his personal connection to Eastern Europe inspired him to pursue the Eurasia fellowship. After his PEN fellowship, Luka hopes to pursue a graduate degree in International Affairs in the United Kingdom.
