Leslie Stein is a cartoonist and musician living in Brooklyn, NY. She is the author of the Eye of the Majestic Creature series as well as the diary comic Bright-Eyed at Midnight, both published by Fantagraphics Books. Her most recent collection, Present, came out from Drawn and Quarterly in 2017. She is a regular contributor to VICE and The New Yorker.
