Kashana Cauley is the author of the novel THE PAYBACK, which was named a best book of 2025 by NPR and Electric Literature, and the novel THE SURVIVALISTS, which was named a best book of 2023 by many outlets, including Vogue, The Today Show, and the BBC. She was the first black woman to write for The Daily Show.
