Jennifer Raff

Jennifer Raff is an associate professor of anthropology at the University of Kansas, and 2024 Guggenheim Fellow. She is the author of Origin:  A Genetic History of the Americas, which won the 2023 Phi Beta Kappa Award in Science, the American Anthropological Association W.W. Howells Award, and the Human Biology Association Book Award. She has written for the New York Times, The Guardian, and Scientific American on human variation, evolution, and science literacy. She lives in Lawrence, Kansas.
