Jared Feuer is the Managing Director of Finance and Administration at PEN America. His career spans civil and human rights, immigrant inclusion, and criminal justice reform with a specialization in finance and operations, and a focus on programming and fundraising.
In his experience, Jared served as Chief Operating Officer at MovementForward, which is a reconciliation-based organization focused on building trust between communities and public safety officers. Feuer oversaw day-to-day programming, finance, and organizational infrastructure. He was also the Chief Business Officer at Welcoming America, where he led a revamp of its strategic model and financial systems. Furthermore, he served as Deputy Director of Membership Mobilization at Amnesty International USA, where he managed field operations and finances across the country, and earlier as the organization’s Southern Regional Director, and worked at both the American Civil Liberties Union and the New York Civil Liberties Union.
Feuer holds a B.A. from Brandeis University, an M.A. in English Literature from Georgetown University with a focus on marginalized voices, and an M.B.A. from Georgia Tech, specializing in operations and nonprofit finances.
